Vedanta Foundation distributed 3000 free laptops to the students of Vedanta PG Girls College, Sikar Rajasthan. The initiative was taken to fuel the ambition of the less privileged students.
It is one of the major initiatives of the foundation – Vedanta Post Graduate Girls College, Ringus (Rajasthan) was established to uplift women from weaker societies. The foundation distributed free laptops to each student (3000) existing and new entrants on 28th July, 2019 in Ringus, Ranjastha. The distribution ceremony was conducted in a form a small event in their college campus. Vice Chancellor of Shekhawati Universit was one of the guests who honored the event. This college holds special significance in the Vedanta Resources Ltd. Chairman’s (Anil Agarwal) heart. He visits the college often.
The foundation has always carted generously to all the requests of the students. Each and every student has been gifted with mobile phones, titan watches, blazers and more in the past years. The whole idea of providing them with smart gadgets is to widen their horizon which they can harness and progress further.
